Calendar mileage

Outlook Calendar to Mileage

If you use Outlook Calendar for your appointments, MileageCalendar can read each event’s location and calculate the driving distance between consecutive appointments β€” building a mileage log with the date, reason and postcodes HMRC expects. Connecting Outlook Calendar

MileageCalendar connects to your Outlook Calendar with a secure, read-only authorisation. It reads the title and location of each appointment and uses them to build draft mileage records.

For each pair of consecutive appointments with locations, it calculates the road distance and creates a record with the appointment title as the business reason and the two postcodes as the start and end.

What each record contains

  • Date and time of the journey
  • The appointment title as the business reason
  • Start and end postcodes
  • The calculated road distance
  • The HMRC claim value

Worked example

Every appointment with a location becomes a candidate mileage record β€” you just review and confirm.
